  • Initiation – We’ll assign an experienced, industry knowledgeable, Account and Project Manager to work with your stakeholders to help define your objectives and expectations and to analyze your supplier community.

  • Provide Your Specification – If you’re already doing EDI with suppliers, provide your specification guide and we’ll test and certify with you. If you’re exploring a new EDI initiative, we can assist you with your implementation guide, connectivity options, onboarding programs, project management, and additional managed services.

  • Plan for Onboarding – Upon analyzing your supplier community and program goals, we’ll help you produce initiative communications to be distributed to your community. All suppliers have varying technical capabilities, so we offer services to get any supplier compliant.

  • Execute – Our team of onboarding specialists can communicate directly with your suppliers or you can simply direct your suppliers to contact Edict Systems to get compliant. You can view onboarding progress and communicate with us within a secure web portal.

  • Measure and Evaluate – Your Account Manager will periodically communicate program results and provide input on program improvement. This can include program variations and solutions to meet and exceed your program expectations. Our goal is to get your suppliers EDI-capable and compliant without disruption in order to help you maximize the value of your EDI investment.

  • What do these services cost? – If you engage with us to develop an EDI program for you, or if you already have an operational EDI program and specification, there is no cost to join the network and benefit from our onboarding services. Simply direct your suppliers to us or provide a list, and we’ll get them onboard. There is no charge for EDI data sent or received from within our network. Optional services, such as data mapping and transaction validation, have per kilo-character fees, which are significantly below industry rates.

  • Does Edict Systems have to be my exclusive provider?  – No. We frequently augment existing EDI implementations with expanded supplier networks and 100% compliant data. We also understand that your suppliers may already be using another provider with other customers. If other providers become compliant with you, your suppliers can use them. We also provide testing and certification services for suppliers who are already EDI-capable.

  • Does my existing EDI specification have to change?  – No. We test and certify with your existing specification, which enables us to get your suppliers compliant without further involvement on your part.

  • What if my specification changes? – One of the many benefits of using our services is that we ensure change events are not disruptive to your trading community. Whether we service 100 or 5,000 of your suppliers, we ensure that they remain compliant.

  • What does this cost my suppliers? – Depending on their needs, capabilities, and document volumes, we offer WebEDI subscription services, which start at $55 per month*. For very low volume or seasonal suppliers, we offer a low-volume subscription, as well as Email EDI. We also provide integrated EDI services for  suppliers who require direct integration with their ERP or accounting system. You can subsidize your suppliers or have them absorb all costs, which will always be less expensive than chargebacks.

  • Who supports my suppliers? – We do. Support is included with all WebEDI subscriptions and we support any supplier who uses our integrated or other EDI services.

  • What about suppliers who won’t do EDI? – For suppliers unwilling to become compliant with our web-based solutions, we offer optional fax and email conversion to EDI services. This allows you to send and receive EDI with us, and we convert and deliver your documents based on the supplier’s preference.
